Jeff Zippi is a cultural historian, a former
college baseball player and a writer. Jeff’s greatest joy is
with his family and he thoroughly enjoys well played baseball
games at every level. By the rich gifts of God’s grace, Jeff
has played in championship games in high school, college and
the Men’s Senior Baseball National Championship Tournament.
He was successful in two of the three, losing only the Los
Angeles City High School Championship game in 1967 to Western
League rival Venice High School. Two championship rings for
Jeff enjoys time, walking and travelling
with his wife of over thrity years, Christine. They also
thoroughly enjoy watching their son, Peter, play baseball and
their daughter, Melat. play basketball.
